NSW: Teenager serious after trail bike crash

SYDNEY, Dec 26 AAP - A teenager is in serious condition with head and possible spinal
injuries after a trail bike accident south-west of Sydney.

The NRMA CareFlight trauma team flew to a property near Appin to treat the rider who
was left unconscious when he crashed just after 1pm.

The CareFlight doctor said the 19-year-old local man was semiconscious when the trauma
team reached him on the property, 70km south-west of Sydney.

He was flown to Liverpool Hospital where he was in a serious but stable condition.

The teenager was unable to recall how he crashed.
